How to kake photo
 
Your Photographs Must Be:
  • Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance
  • Color
  • Full face and front view
  • Taken in normal street attire. Uniforms should not be worn in photographs except religious attire that is worn daily.
  • Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
  • If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.
  • Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.

    Guidelines for taking your own passport photos
    • Send us a half length photo of yourself (from the waist up)
    • Leave plenty of space above the head
    • Please do not use a cellular phone or web camera when taking your pictures
    • Please, only send digital photo files larger than 200Kb
    • Make sure to use the flash
    • Make sure to capture both shoulders from side to side and at least 12 inches below the chin
    • Select the highest quality setting on your camera
    • Ensure you have selected the right background color
    • Avoid red eye in your photos
    • Avoid tilting your head down, up or to the side when having your photo taken
    • Have both arms down
    • It is crucial that your face is in focus; otherwise the photo will be rejected
