How To Take Photo |

Your Photographs Must Be:
Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance
Color
Full face and front view
Taken in normal street attire. Uniforms should not be worn in photographs except religious attire that is worn daily.
Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.
Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.

Guidelines for taking your own passport photos
- Send us a half length photo of yourself (from the waist up)
- Leave plenty of space above the head
- Please do not use a cellular phone or web camera when taking your pictures
- Please, only send digital photo files larger than 200Kb
- Make sure to use the flash
- Make sure to capture both shoulders from side to side and at least 12 inches below the chin
- Select the highest quality setting on your camera
- Ensure you have selected the right background color
- Avoid red eye in your photos
- Avoid tilting your head down, up or to the side when having your photo taken
- Have both arms down
- It is crucial that your face is in focus; otherwise the photo will be rejected
